After finding the largest crystals in the world in 2016, Crystal Castle founder Naren King and his daughter Ayla went on a mission to fulfill every crystal lover’s dream, to sit in a crystal cave. The extraordinary 120 million year old geode comes from Uruguay and is open for all visitors to sit inside and enjoy, free with your entry.

This magnificent amethyst cave, that we have affectionately called the ‘Dragon Egg’, weighs 10 tonne and with its perfect deep purple colour is extremely rare.

Crystal Castle has been around for ages and as a long-time local it was one of those places that I always thought I'd get around to visiting... one day.
I finally made it this year, when we visited for my daughter's birthday.
It's a great place to wander around, learn about crystals and enjoy a wonderful meal in the lovely cafe. Highly recommended.
