Hidden in a floral grove on a hill overlooking the Crystal Labyrinth and Blessing Buddha is a beautifully serene oasis dedicated to love. With two large mounted heart-shaped amethysts, this ring is encircled by rose quartz stones and positioned in its centre is a seat for two. Signboarded adjacent to the circle’s outer ring is Oriah Mountain Dreamer’s potent poem, The Invitation.
The Love Garden is an enchanting space. Surrounded by vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and the gentle sounds of nature, this tranquil haven invites you to pause and connect with the deeper energies of love and authenticity. In creating this sanctuary, Crystal Castle’s Creative Director Sono King explains that “my intention was to create a place where you can sit alone or with a beloved, surrounded by the power of rose quartz, the stone of love, and gaze upon the beautiful amethyst hearts, letting them weave their magic on you.’
Positioned on a board at the Love Garden’s outer ring is Oriah Mountain Dreamer’s poem – The Invitation. It’s a profound call to live authentically, exploring who we are beyond our external achievements. The poem challenges us to explore the essence of who we are – what we long for, how we handle joy and sorrow, and our capacity for love and courage. With raw honesty it invites the reader to consider a life of truth, vulnerability, and deep connection.

In 2018 on a journey to Brazil, Crystal Castle founder Naren King and his daughter Ayla discovered two giant amethyst hearts. They had never seen anything quite like these extraordinary carvings before. In feeling so happy to have found them, they took them back to Australia with the intent to place them in Shambhala Gardens.
The creative design of the Love Garden was brought to life by Crystal Castle’s Creative Director, Sono King, who carefully crafted this beautiful space for mindfulness and reflection.
The Love Garden’s seat is made of jasper because jasper is known for its grounding and nurturing properties. This stone is said to promote stability, balance, and emotional healing, making it the perfect material for a tranquil space dedicated to mindfulness and reflection.
