Driving to Crystal Castle from Byron Bay

Enjoy a scenic drive through the lush landscape of the Byron Bay hinterland. Crystal Castle offers free parking for all visitors, with accessible spaces available.

Crystal Castle is just a short, scenic 20 minute drive from Byron Bay. There are plenty of hire car options from Byron Bay, Ballina Byron and the Gold Coast airports.

By taxi or Uber

There are several rideshare options, such as Uber and taxis that provide convenient transport between Byron Bay and Crystal Castle.

Unfortunately, we’ve found that return journeys with Uber aren’t reliable, and we’re sorry that this is out of our control. It’s best to book a Byron Bay taxi for your return trip.

Driving to Crystal Castle from the Gold Coast

Crystal Castle is only a 45-minute, 65km drive south along the M1 from the Gold Coast (Coolangatta) airport. It’s a picturesque route through the lush, green hinterland and you’ll travel through the colourful village of Mullumbimby, Australia’s biggest little town.
