All of our dishes are created with wellness in mind, and cater for most dietary requirements – vegan, gluten free, dairy free and sugar free.
Where possible, we use naturally occurring sugars and unprocessed sugar alternatives in our delectable cakes, biscuits, slices and puddings.
We grow some of our ingredients onsite in our organic vegetable gardens and fruit orchards. By harvesting fresh, seasonal organic produce daily, including fresh herbs and edible flowers, we offer nutritious food that’s better for you and the planet.
In line with our commitment to sustainability and to avoid plastic, our food offerings are served on fully compostable crockery and cutlery. This also means that we’re more able to offer faster service.

The Lotus Cafe is open 10.15am – 4.15pm every day, except Good Friday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, when Crystal Castle is closed.
Unfortunately not. The Lotus Cafe is only open to Crystal Castle guests. You need to purchase a day pass in order to visit our eatery.
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and do not currently take reservations. However there is plenty of seating and we strive to accommodate all guests comfortably.
Yes there are ramps to the entrance of the Lotus Cafe making it highly accessible for prams and wheelchairs. There is plenty of manoeuvrable space in the cafe.

Yes, the Lotus Cafe is a spacious, undercover alfresco eatery that is protected from the weather. There are also some outdoor tables adjacent to the Children’s Playground.
