We lose touch with who we are and get exhausted if we don’t take time for ourselves to achieve balance, to recharge, and to give our bodies time to heal from our hectic lifestyles. Being centred, balanced, and whole is being grounded.
Crystals are believed by many to possess unique properties that can help ground us and bring us a sense of calm and balance. Here are some tips for using crystals to ground yourself:

For grounding, use crystals with earthy qualities, colours and properties such as Hematite, Pyrite, Smoky Quartz, Shungite, and Jasper all of which are excellent for helping you to stabilise your energy.
Cleanse your crystals: Before using your crystals, it’s important to cleanse them to remove any negative energy they may have picked up. You can do this by smudging them with sage or palo santo, placing them in sunlight or moonlight for a few hours, or washing them in salt.
Carry your crystals with you: One way to benefit from the grounding properties of crystals is to carry them with you throughout the day. You can place them in your pocket, wear them as jewellery, or keep them in a pouch in your purse or backpack. You can also sit in nature with your crystal and visualise roots extending from your feet connecting you deeply into the earth.
Meditate with your crystals: Another way to use crystals for grounding is to meditate with them. Find a quiet, comfortable space and hold your crystal in your hand or place it on your body. Focus on your breath and allow the crystal’s energy to help you feel more grounded and centered.
